If you're looking for a simple way to personalize Chrome, My Chrome Theme is the best way to do it. Also bear in mind that the only default sharing option is on Google+. We would have also liked a few extra options when it comes to editing in My Chrome Theme - the ones available, which relate to color, are nice, but we're sure some cool effects could be squeezed in at some point during the process. Unfortunately, you can't try the theme out in full size - either you preview it in My Chrome Theme's mini version, or you go ahead and install it. You can preview your theme at all points using My Chrome Theme, as the app allows you to create your theme in a mock up Chrome browser. Once you've got My Chrome Theme installed, it will prompt you to upload an image, change its position on the screen, pick colors for the foreground tab, background tab and background, and then install it to Chrome and share it with your friends. Important: School and work accounts can't access the screen saver option.In order to install the extension, you'll need to be using Chrome and logged into your Google account. Use the same wallpaper across multiple Chromebooks To use a personal photo saved in your Google Photos account, select Google Photos.To set a custom wallpaper with an image downloaded to your Chromebook, select My Images.Make sure that youre doing this on a computer, as you cannot. To choose a wallpaper with a light or dark theme, select Radiance. Its app icon is a red, yellow, green, and blue sphere.Also, change other color related settings, if you wish. Use the color picker or input a hex color code to change the Background, Foreground, Highlight and Accent colors. Click on New Theme after the existing themes in the theme library. You can also select the wallpaper to change daily or refresh. To make your own theme: Go to Settings > Themes. Select one of the images to set as your wallpaper. Your Chrome themes are stored in your Google Account, so when you sign in to Chrome on any computer, you see the same theme.If you can't change your wallpaper, contact your administrator for more help. Note: If you use your Chromebook at work or school, your administrator might not let you change your wallpaper. You can personalize your Chromebook with a custom wallpaper for your desktop.
