Windows 10 Build 14986 is the first publicly available build of Windows 10 that fully embraces the Unified Update Platform (UUP), which simplifies the update process for Windows 10. The ISO images for Windows 10 Build 14986 are not released together with the flight to Slow ring, but ISO images do come another week later, on December 21st, 2016. Windows 10 Build 14986 is released to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring on December 7th, 2016, and those on the Slow ring a week later on December 14th, 2016. The new Windows 10 Insider Preview build for Windows 10 Creators Update milestone is build 14986, or more specifically 14986.1000.
After almost a month hiatus, Microsoft makes available another preview release for Windows 10 Creators Update Version 1703.
